Matthew Nelson Joins as Vice President of Finance and Investor Relations; Jennifer Lada Promoted to Vice President of Financial Reporting
PONTE VEDRA, FLA.
Advanced Disposal, an integrated environmental services company, today appoints two vice presidents to its finance team. Matthew Nelson joins the company as vice president of finance and investor relations. He will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, treasury and investor relations. Jennifer Lada is promoted to vice president of financial reporting, with responsibilities including Securities and Exchange Commission compliance, technical accounting, enterprise risk management and financial reporting.
“Matt brings strong leadership and public company business acumen that Advanced Disposal will leverage as we strengthen our accounting and finance leadership team,” said Steve Carn, CFO of Advanced Disposal. “Jennifer has been a valuable member of our leadership team since 2012 and was instrumental in the 2013 S-4 registration process. She will continue to build on a strong financial reporting platform improving the quality and transparency of our financial data.”
Prior to joining Advanced Disposal, Nelson spent 10 years with CSX Corporation in various roles with a concentration in treasury, financial planning and analysis and external reporting. Prior to CSX, he was a senior auditor for KPMG. Nelson holds bachelors’ degrees in accounting and economics from the University of North Florida and a master’s of business administration from the University of Florida and is a certified public accountant, chartered financial analyst charterholder and certified treasury professional.
Lada has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She holds a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida and is a certified public accountant.
