Advanced Disposal Acquires MOR Recycling and Carting, Inc., Growing South Carolina Footprint
Advanced Disposal Services Inc., a regional integrated environmental services company, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, has acquired the assets of MOR Recycling and Carting, Inc. The purchase includes five trucks and more than 725 containers, further expanding the Jacksonville-headquartered company’s footprint in the Lexington and Richland areas.
“Advanced Disposal is looking to grow our operations in the Columbia marketplace, and MOR Recycling and Carting provided us with the opportunity to strengthen the density and efficiencies of our commercial collection operations,” said Advanced Disposal’s Regional Vice President Charlie Gray.? “We look forward to providing comprehensive waste and recycling solutions to the 250 customers who our team will now service.”
MOR Recycling and Carting, Inc. began providing commercial front-load and roll-off waste and recycling services in 2005.? MOR President Kevin O’Halpin, along with several employees and drivers, will join the Advanced Disposal Columbia team upon completion of Advanced Disposal’s hiring requirements.
