Advanced Disposal Acquires B&W Waste, Adding Transfer Station to Middle Georgia Operations
Advanced Disposal Services, Inc., a regional integrated environmental services company, has completed the acquisition of certain assets of B&W Waste, Inc. further expanding the Florida-headquartered company’s operations in middle Georgia.?
B&W Waste has provided solid waste collection services to residents and businesses in Greene, Jasper, Morgan, Newton, Putnam, Rockdale and Walton counties since 1986. Advanced Disposal’s purchase of the company includes: a municipal solid waste transfer station, located at 1240 Lions Club Rd. in Madison; 1,200 commercial, roll-off and residential customers including contracts; 19 trucks and 780 containers.
B&W Waste’s 13 employees including owners, Larry and Alesia Bishop, will also join the Advanced Disposal – Middle Georgia team. In addition, B&W Waste’s administrative office located at 1140 Monticello Rd. in Madison will continue to operate under Advanced Disposal.
